I think most of us paid about $50/oz back then. Then there was a mania and I recently reviewed forum archive (Wayback machine) sales threads with $70-100/oz dragons being sold at the peak. Adjusted for inflation we're still mostly all way down.
We were our own worst enemies at that time. We should have just pulled our heads in. This all happened after the 2011 crash. Imagine the damage had it occurred after the crash? Tulip mania on steroids!
Wonder how many people still posting here went to the SS dragon launch meetup hosted at the Perth Mint (guessing 30ish people?) I remember getting x2 rolls for $2000. Maybe the biggest loss I've booked in silver since they're gone now, but I haven't sold much else.
Reminds me of the first bitcoin meetup I went to, just a few people, then 100's a few years after, and now fully packed conferences. Silver is getting a similar swell it would seem judging by the building meetup numbers albeit a lot slower.

I started stacking 10 years ago and loved the dragons, still have a kg dragon I bought quite cheap because lots of people were panic selling mid 2013.
Anyone know the date of the design release? I haven't bought any new bullion in years, just waiting to load up on some dragons.

Some say ; Sept to November , A little delay as well.
Will be the last of QE2 coins.
New KCIII will be next year.
We are practically in this forum for 12yrs and more for some stackers! Still see familiar names poppin up here.

Last auction S2 Ag about $500 , way undervalue. That's SS forum. Everyone have at least a set.
Some have 100 x sets.
The latest I heard that it could be next year before we see any s3 lunar dragons.I would not be surprised...

Do you think it may have something to do with just waiting till the official Aus Charles effigies are released? I believe RAM will start spitting these out from next year as well.
Chip said all the coins have the queen on them so nothing to do with Charles.I have no idea what is causing the delay but one thing for sure the 1st delivery and the 2nd and so on will go overseas as usual.
