Some countries will become hysterical control-freaks at the first sign of a sneeze.

At this point we don't know what this is or how far it has spread. And they say it's treatable.
But for some reason, hysteria pays off.

It is all so transparent that it's all going according to an agenda. China, US and EU are the main actors.

How come Mexico, Vietnam, Turkey, Russia, Algeria, Israel, Singapore or Chile aren't such control-freaks? The same pandemic went through them.
But it's the more "political" countries and entries (here I think of the EU) that are so "involved" in pandemics and controlling the masses.

Could the Fed, ECB be buying up Bitcoin? They could pay off the tremendous debt with it. I suppose they have that much brain.

Of course, the price could go down, but gradually it could be done. A smart strategy has to be thought out, but they would have to cease QE.
 
Debt is a good thing and it just switches hands like currency, keeps everything above water.

There really is no debt anymore. They can print whatever and make derivitives for whatever endlessly.

It works till it doesnt but in the meantime youd better get a taste for bugs haha.

Well if you can’t beat ‘em… I know a few people killing it with bot fly and cricket farms. Just doing it out of a shipping container. If you’re really smart you can isolate and sell the chitin. Also the aquaculture sector is getting big on insects and is the best way to build a customer base with reliable and constant demand. Again a lot of fish feed is fortified with chitin.

We were crying we might have negative interest rates and now we're more scared of massive inflation.

If you'd live in Europe, what would you use as your main hedge against currency devaluation? PM's? Some other fiat currency like USD/CHF/anything else?
 
We do have negative REAL rates but i dont know about the Europeans. I assume they are made up of all types same as here with a few stackers thrown in.

Hopefully they arent buying other depreciating fiats haha.

Interesting fact about the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun title - most of our past prime ministers are also "1st Class Grand Cordons" of the same order.
