2020 Collapse

So far, the only product that I've seen out of stock since the bat contagion started are face masks and that was in January 2020.

^
I saw this countless times in Europe: the same product is used to fill the empty space on the shelves.
And yes, quite often it's just a single row of cans (like on the picture above), just to fill the first line on the shelves.

This is worrying, indeed.

Another tactic that I saw is that they also bring countless big boxes of other products and they put them right in the middle of the shop to create the appearance of abundance.

For example, I saw:
- piles of paper products (paper tissues, toilet paper etc.) placed near the drinks' section of the shop, but also not far from the existing paper products - I noticed that in fact, there were too few mineral water bottles on the shelves,
so they probably they decided to create a "visual barrier of abundance", but with paper, not water...
- canned fish products were scarce on certain shelves at another shop, so what did they do? they filled disproportionately many shelves (as on the image above) with jars of pickles (sour)... has nothing to do with fish!
- I also saw that they quite often bring in 3-4-5 huge pallets of Coke/Pepsi and/or vegetable oil and LITERALLY create barriers in the middle of the shop, so that you have to go around them (they put 2-3 pallets, vertically filled with
the same useless product - like Coke), again: for the visual illusion of abundance...

This is weird, because the Coke and the toilet paper usually pops up right where some other product is rarer (or has disappeared entirely) from the shelves.

How bizarre, how bizarre... there used to be a song called "How bizarre, how bizarre" :D :D :D

Crypto videos are becoming just like silver bug videos, a waste of time to watch, just wait for the big drop, 80% and then buy in. Remind me when it happens. :D

The hardest thing is to pick the bottom or at least close to it.

Crypto videos are even worse than permabull silver bug videos, they are kind-of like solo soap operas of "armchair experts". It's a bit like watching make-up videos. :D

Regardless, this guy is one of the few who seems to understand a lot more and his explanations are very useful.

I personally don't think that cryptos (as they are today) have a very bright long term future. If Bitcoin collapses to 20 k, then it will be terribly disappointing to many. Especially if it never reaches 50-60 k for several years.

People seem to expect (and some are quite entitled to-) higher prices to arrive "just like that"... but it's actually the people that make things grow.

Still, I think we will see higher crypto prices: now that major financial institutions, the super rich and people from Amazon, Apple are talking about it. Hmmm...

I don't think it will be bitcoin. Most of the dot com winners don't exist today. Amazon is one of the few. We'll have to see again.

Of course. I strongly believe that the IMF or, a group of countries could launch a solid gold-backed crypto. It will be almost limited, because it will have to be backed by gold.

And, this would be very good, because if it will be backed by gold, it will not sink below production price/intrinsic value. It will never go to zero.

BTC is finite. Gold is not.

And sovereign nations are not going to hand over the issuance of currency to the IMF or a cartel of nations for 2 reasons, it would mean these countries lose their independence (as per the Euro) and it would mean that their economies would collapse as a result of financial instability.

The IMF is an irrelevance to advanced economies.

A bunch of countries (EU, G20, G7, BRIC - lately not very relevant) could team up and agree upon a new gold-backed currency.

If they'd back it with gold, it would be a real stable coin.

Whether, it is gold or silver backed don't matter as long as it can be used to buy stuff or exchanged for other currencies. That's why I think the Americans will still control cryptos and block chain currency because they control the payment providers, Paypal, Mastercard, Visa, Amex, among others.

wait till S550 is out
Chinese newspaper: "S-550" system is capable of targeting a US military shuttle
The Russian "S-550" air defense and missile defense system will achieve a new quantum leap in technology, which will allow Russia to advance over the American and Israeli missile defense systems.
This was stated in an article published by the Chinese newspaper Sohu. The newspaper said that the "S-550" will become the world's first self-propelled air and space defense system.
According to the information available to the newspaper, the new Russian system will be able to intercept various ballistic missiles, including ICBMs, outside the Earth's atmosphere. The system can target other space weapons such as the US military's multi-use X-37B space shuttle.
This means that the technical and tactical specifications of the Russian system are superior to the Russian "S-400" and "S-500" systems and the American Aegis missile defense system equipped with SM-3Block llB missiles.
The newspaper said that all missile shield systems used at the present time in the armies of the world are fixed and immobile systems. It can have a maximum operating range of 600 km and a maximum altitude of 200 km, as is the case in the Russian S-500 system. It seems that the "S-550" system will surpass these specifications and can move quickly from one place to another. This means, according to the newspaper, that Russia has made a huge qualitative leap in the development of missile shield technology and has advanced far over other countries.

Him saying he "is vaccinated and sees the point" says it right there. No wonder hes still confused about what is going on haha.
He even thinks a 14 day lockdown will beat a virus wow.
I remember learning about viruses in grammar school so I'm always confused how an adult doesnt understand something as simple as natural immunity.

China needs Australia many times more than Australia needs China.

Unless China takes Siberia, then no need Australia. :D
