Where to buy tungsten?

Hi all, does anybody know where to buy tungsten bars from? I have tried to google it but cant seem to find anybody who will sell it in bar form, only in rings. Any help would be appreciated.
 
I believe theres a few 10oz bars kicking around NY at the moment.
Extra special as they even come gold coated.

For you, they are only $17,950 AUD per bar.

Each 10 oz bar has also been signed by a Nigerian prince.

I know I'm new and sound suss asking this question but do you really think if i was clever enough to be able to make a flame hot enough to melt tungsten that I would be asking a question about where to find it on here. Grow up.
On the other hand, I think tungsten is quite an amazing metal, for its density alone, I cant afford a 1 kilo gold bar doorstop so while tungsten is cheap in comparison to gold I would like to aquire some. I stack silver anyway and hope to trade on here some day, hence the reason why I signed up, i cant see how a post about tungsten would affect somebody willing to trade silver anyway.
I have lurked on here for some time and wouldn't wish to jaepordise any future trades with putting a post up about tungsten, so give it a rest about the "nice post from a new member rubbish". My first post was actually a nice one if you care to do some reearch with several people thanking me for my post.
 
If you have been lurking for a while then surely youd know that now is probably not an appropriate time to be asking where to find tungsten...
 
My sincere apologies for rubbing up the forum in an obviously wrong way, I should have thought about it a little more than I did. But for what its worth its a genuine question with absolutely no ill intent. Would just love to have a 10kilo brick of it lying around.
 
In that case, contact your local refinery, metal dealer or scrap yard - they may be able to point you in the right direction.

May I ask.. Why do you want them??!?!!

Would like to have a few really heavy bricks laying around, say 5 to 10 kilos each, i just find it facinating that it can be so dense, its quite unique. It also has some remarkeable properties and is used extensively in industry, like my beloved silver. You will probably laugh at this but there may come a day where people may wish to stack tungsten, it is quite rare (china destroyed the tungsten by flooding the marked a few years ago) industrial demand is growing by about %5 per year, it is alot more durable than both gold and silver and it is quite resistant to corrosion. A few kilos of the stuff may be worth a punt IMO.

I find nothing wrong with your desire to stack anything, I understand. Now, would you like these bars plated or non-plated?

LOL, no plated of course, preferably stamped with purity and what it is. I would never buy a large gold bar without an authenticity test and certified guarantee that it is what it is.
In yours and others opinion and knowledge do you think it could be worthwhile stacking? or know of anybody that does. Have just got off the phone enquiring about it and am waiting on a call back. It appears to be very hard to find, makes me want it more.

Be best to check out scrap metal dealers in your home city. They won't be like silver 10oz bars but. You will get 10kg copper, tin etc with no purity stamps etc but good to stack. In the future you may be sitting on a gold mine!! And it will be cheap.
I recommend Graphite!! It's the way of the future for slim tv's & circuit boards.
