Volatility Index, USD Index and Gold Price movement ?

People,

Does anyone here know if the Gold pricing is always the inverse of VIX index or DXY index ?

Description:
VIX is a trademarked ticker symbol for the CBOE Volatility Index, a popular measure of the implied volatility of S&P 500 index options; the VIX is calculated by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). Often referred to as the fear index or the fear gauge, the VIX represents one measure of the market's expectation of stock market volatility over the next 30-day period.

Description:
The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) tracks the strength of the dollar against a basket of currencies. In recent years, the strength of the U.S. dollar has fallen against other currencies as a result of U.S. monetary policy.

It is a weighted geometric mean of the dollar's value relative to other select currencies:

Euro (EUR), 57.6% weight
Japanese yen (JPY) 13.6% weight
Pound sterling (GBP), 11.9% weight
Canadian dollar (CAD), 9.1% weight
Swedish krona (SEK), 4.2% weight
Swiss franc (CHF) 3.6% weight

I wonder if there is any correlation between those two charts above with Gold price movement.

Any comment or explanation would be greatly appreciated.
