I am visiting Denver in September and wanted to visit the mint but it's closed for two weeks. Does anyone know if the gift shop is open when the mint is closed for tours? Was hoping to get some freshly minted silver.
They should be open tomorrow. I'll give them a ring. Will be hugely disappointed if they are closed. Visiting right after the 5 oz silver sand dunes national park coin is released. Was hoping to get the coin and then head over to the dunes.
