Undecided what to buy (~1/2 oz gold)

I have few combinations, but I am undecided what to buy.

I have a limited budget for about 15 grams of gold to buy, so I was thinking about theese combinations, which one do you recomment (gold coins, type is irelevant I will buy kangaroos, or philharmonics or lunars whichever are cheapest at my dealer store...) :

I sold my 1 gram IGR gold bars total 14 grams, so I have to replace it with coins :)
 
Well now isn't that cute :p I'd go 1/4 and 1/10. Lunars too. What's kn/g?
 
Shippin is included. Here in europe we have not much choice. I compared AJM Bullion prices they have even higher prices than my shop in Germany!

I decided to get various coins, so I chose this for 645 Eur (shipping included) (37,7 Eur/gram)

thats 34 % premium, buy 2nd hand jewelery dont worry about it being broken or anything offer spot + few percent; you would give them a better deal than here in shopping centres. Here in shopping centres they pay ~35% of gold's spot price.
 
I dont know about your math, but if I buy 1/2oz, there is just 13% over spot.

If I buy my combination 1/4 + 1/10 + 1/10 + 1/10 (17,1 grams or 0,55oz), for 645eur, that means I pay 1173,3 eur per OZ, considering that spot price is 968 eur, that means I pay 21% more including shipping. Thats not bad deal. I dont have a place to buy person to person, I have to order from another county. Thats thecheapest I could find. To translate to your currency: 1760 AUD per ounce.
 
Depends on what your dealer has, but I'd pick Kangaroos or Lunars. The Philharmonics wouldn't be such a good choice. They all look the same, they're among the least trendy gold coins.

Perhaps you could buy a few Kangaroos and a few Lunars.

Do you want to buy multiple mini coins?

You could easily go for a single 1/2 oz.

Too small coins are easy to lose, but perhaps you want to own multiple pieces so that you can sell them one-by-one.

I was thinking later in 10 years or whatever, it will be easier to sell smaller coins. I bought fer philharmonics just to have them, here in europe ther are very recognizable and popular, nothing wrong with them (except I have to buy a capsule for them). I also like kangaroos, but I have them already so I try to buy as many as different coins possible, to have a nice little collection too. :)

you're right i was looking at charts section and was looking at pounds instead of euros

Not sure why you would go with kangaroo's over lunars? At least here in the US they seem to start at about the same price. Seems like lunars would be a better investment since the Kangaroos alway seem to stay near spot.
 
Here in europe there is no difference, when I sell to bank or dealer it is the same price lunar or kangaroo, and there are no collectors in Bosnia so, I buy what I like. I dont plan to sell it in next 10+ years anyway.
