Thoughts on the Perth Mint 2020 Double Dragon 1 oz Gold Coin

Closing price for spot gold was about $2655 Australian Dollars (AUD)
The 2020 Double Dragon 1oz Gold Bullion Coin is currently out of stock, but the list price on their website indicates $2794 AUD
Premium is $139AUD
Then you have to add $17.50 for postage as pick-up is not available and, you may want to add insurance.
They have a very low mintage of only 5,000 coins but low mintage doesn't necessarily mean collectors will flock to the coin but they have.
Having said that, in the current series all three coins are doing well; the 2018 Dragon & Phoenix 1oz 99.99% Gold Bu Coin had a mintage of $5000 coins and sold-out.

The 2019 Dragon & Tiger 1oz Gold Bullion Coin also had a mintage of 5,000 coins.
Official mintage should be out soon.
There's no bad gold coins, only good gold coins and better gold coins.

Yeah I've seen the 2020 Double Dragon on the Perth Mint website over the past week or so become available for purchase on a few days but sells out of current stock pretty quickly. I was interested in picking one of these up as I love the design and series. Prefer it over the lunar series personally. Just gotta work out what I'm willing to pay over spot price for gold!

I got it from the Perth Mint and Postage was $17.50 and Insurance was 1% (Includes GST). Total cost of around $46-7ish
