wholee sheeit mate! Now this is a bluddy good education.... thanks heaps for taking all the trouble to post so many informative links.

It's wasted on many here, but there are a few of us who like to know 'what's under the hood' .... without that, investing is made infinitely more difficult!
 
I just remembered that figure that Jamie & Blythe have 'set aside' for 'legal' - in other words their cash stash to pay-down any litigation that they need to sweep under the carpet.

When you think that their Q3 earnings this year were down - but still at $23Bn... it's small change isn't it? When you think of BHP Billiton's 2010-2011 profit was $22Bn it becomes clear how powerful these 'people' are...

JPM is the largest business in the World by turnover and profit currently... and they're a bank... as such they to a greater extent can define 'money' itself - like a magician, with a flick of the wrist or flutter of a handkerchief, they can keep reinventing tradeables as derivatives or other financial instruments, ad infinitum... And when such a small group of people - I can't call them 'the elite', but in essence they live up to the image of 'Masters of The Universe' in terms of influence & financial clout - wield so much power, they must be kept in check...

If not, they will ultimately destroy our society. Control is their aim, in every sense of the word. JPM and their cronies are limbs of the same beast... The informed amongst us can use this information to benefit all of us, and this should be our aim. There is nothing wrong with competition.

There is nothing wrong with free enterprise, or capitalism per se - which go hand in hand with freedom of choice, freedom of religion, freedom in the pursuit of happiness and prosperity, freedom to put forward elected representatives to our parliaments - but there is something very wrong with those who seize power and distort the tenets of business and the free market.

Think about post-Soviet Russia... and the Russian dictatorship under Putin, supported by the corrupt layer of oligarch thieves & mafia... They are essentially the same as JPM, only working under a different political guise - and working exclusively to their own self-interested agenda.

One thing that Life has taught me is that nothing - NOTHING ever stays the same. So if you're interested, keep researching, keep posting up here, and stay ahead of the pack... Forewarned is forearmed.

Real money, earned by our own lawful efforts as income is one of the last bastions of our economic freedom & power to enjoy & even change the World around us - the substitution of silver & gold for worthless paper fiat is not acceptable to me - neither should it be acceptable to you.
