This is an Island known only to Stackers. It is a special place that holds buried treasure, among other things, and those who are keen to solve it's mysteries can receive a free reward for their efforts should they be successful.
OBJECTIVES
1. Southerncross went diving for mudcrabs the other day. Whilst underwater some pirates came and stole his boat. It is now anchored somewhere in the water surrounding Stackers Island. If you can find Southerncross's boat he will reward you with a 1966 round 50 cent piece.
2. Eureka Moments may be suffering early onset dementia as he left his Gold Detector somewhere on Stackers Island and is buggered if he knows where it is...(of course this is speaking metaphoricly for the purposes of this exercise)... Find where the detector is located and I will send you a Gold-in-quartz specimen as a reward.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
You need to post the grid reference of where you wish to look ie..."E-14", "P-7". The Island is the yellow grids and the the blue grids are briny deep blue sea bits. The grey area is a grey area.
Entrants will be able to guess more than once during this competition but only as per rules.
You are advised to look through all pages of the thread for any hints I may provide for your quest.
RULES
This competition is open to all Members registered before 23rd December 2012.
The winner/s will receive a 1966 Round 50cent piece (80% silver) and/or a Gold-in-quartz specimen which will be posted free within Australia or Overseas.
There are two seperate prizes on offer, but you may win both.
Members may have multiple guesses, but no more than one guess per page of posts. If you miss having a "look" on a page, bad luck. Guesses or "looks" must be deemed valid by the adjudicater to count.
Edited posts will not count. First correct entrys as adjudged by the adjudicater will win.
Speaking Pirate is allowed during posts, but please make sure your guesses are legible.
