Silver Stacker
I know a list is out there some where, but I can't find it.
If someone can find it that would be nice, my searches turn up nil.
All I remember is that it was a sticky, if that helps

I was thinking just the other day to start a new thread about this very topic, nice one chillidog ;)

This is the list that I have compiled so far;

Academy -Manufactured by Academy hallmark
Academy -Manufactured by Materion hallmark (small)
Academy - Blank
Apmex - Manufactured by Academy hallmark (small)
Apmex - Made by Academy hallmark (large)
Apmex - Manufactured by Materion hallmark (small)
Scottsdale - Manufactured by Materion hallmark (small)
Scottsdale - Manufactured by Materion hallmark ( Large )
Scottsdale - Manufactured by Academy hallmark ( Large ISO )
Scottsdale - Manufactured by Acamemy hallmark
Scottsdale - Blank
Scottsdale - MFG by Scottsdale Mint + Serial Number
Scottsdale - Serial Number
Scottsdale - Lion logo + Serial Number
Southern Cross -Manufactured by Materion hallmark (small)
Southern Cross -Manufactured by Materion hallmark (large)
South West Bullion - Manufactured by Materion hallmark (small)
Silver Stackers -Manufactured by Materion hallmark (small)
Ainslie Stackers - Scottsdale lion logo
Intrinsic Tender 10 XAG - Scottsdale lion logo

This list is just what I have seen, there could be more versions out yet. There is also a SouthWest Bullion Stacker bar which I think was made by Materion but I have never seen one so I am thinking it is quite rare, I would pay a handsome premium to anyone who has one and wants to sell ;)

Not really part of the Machined Stacker set but I have added the SBA Stacker to this list. It's cast so no reeded edge and no machined swirl pattern on the back but it still stacks with all the other brands :)

And finally I have a full set of the different brands :D

I will update this post whenever I find something different.

GP could we please make this a sticky so it easy to find for future reference?

How about the 1kg stackers - does the above list of types apply to the kilos?

Thanks for putting the list together - and pics :)

Just added some new pics to the 2nd post.

The Ainslie stacker, South West Bullion stacker and a pic of the whole set together :D

Edit to add a very big Thank You to Altima for selling me the SWB and helping complete my set, Cheers mate :)

Just a newb question: Do they all stack together, or do you need to buy all the same ones if you want that?

I added in bold to your list 2 new Scottsdale Stackers that I have, 1 large materion hallmark...and a very unique Academy hallmark pertaining to ISO certification ( I think it is my coolest stacker :) )

I had 43 Scottsdale Stackers just last year, I sold 20 of them....ALL 20 were the BLANK versions ( I kept 3 of the blank versions )

If I had known the blank versions were rare, I wouldn't have sold those...I picked them to sell at the time because they were blank :(

One of the blank versions I kept, had the vertical return height set too low when it was machined...you can see the marks left by being misadusted ( It was unique, so I kept that particular blank stacker )

Just a note on the large vs small Materion marks - the large mark is the older of the two. It was replaced by the small stamp.

That's an awesome collection - I was not aware of small stamp Academy markings.

Stackers are my favorite for sure.

Though they cost just a tad more than other bars at time of purchase, (still in zone of good prices though) they seem much easier to resell and you can get a higher premium if you sell private party/auction site, etc. They have the highest resale value of bullion bars on ebay.
