What can you guys tell me about this coin?

I got it relatively cheap, as I was purchasing an item from the Uk, and decided to add this as it was free shipping.

says it is 12th century France Denier Hugues, but that doesn't mean much to me. just thought it would be nice to have something with a bit of age.
