Should bitcoin & Co. adds be in the Goods for Barter Section

I'm not sure if its just me, but I'm noticing more and more request in the sales section for people wanting to trade their silver for bitcoins and all the other computer generated coins.

This is not an attack at those who collect Bitcoin,
All I'm saying is that it isn't a pm therefore should be in the goods for barter section or
maybe get the administrators to start a new Bitcoin and Co sticky

If they are selling their PM for bit/altcoins then it should be on the sales section
Barter is for selling/trading non-PM goods

Or so makes sense to me

So if we all of a sudden had members selling their silver/gold for house hold items,etc... in the sales thread , the masses would find this acceptable :/

Maybe it should have its own sticky

Well being a pm's forum/trading area I think it shouldnt be in there unless its being accepted as a form of payment.

As for the goods for barter but sorry, btc isn't a good.

Personally I think there should be two prices for the metal being sold, eg
FS, 1kg silver bar, $800.00 cash or 1 bitcoin.

What if you don't want devalued fiat currency? I don't currently hold bitocoin or any crypto currency but I don't see the reason to rag on those who do. Any alternative to fiat currency should be encouraged regardless of its form.

Are the sales in 'UK & Europe (Public)' restricted to currencies produced by countries in Europe?

I would like to see a completely separate section for any form of cryptocurrency trading in a Buy, Sell or Swap format.
Given time and how popular it is becoming, may not be too long before we are engulfed with this type of trading.
May even be a niche market for some budding entrepreneur to set something up where auctions and trading are using only crypto-currency.
Not like "Fleebay" where you don't have Buyers advertising.

The term goods is a general term used on this forum for items that aren't pm's.

You say btc isn't a good......it definately aint a pm either.

Once again, this post isn't a dig at bitcoins and those that accumulate them, but solely where they should be advertised.

I wasn't aware of GP's post supporting bitcoin being acceptable in the sales thread, so will leave it at that.

Only if being accepted as payment for bullion.

That thought crossed my mind.
Thing is that everyone is selling PM's for Crypto's and I don't see any going the other way,
I know I'm not going to pay crypto for silver, I would pay cash, especially ATM.
