Greetings
Nice site excellent resource!
It's probably a simple answer but I can't quite define this 10.25" silverplate item with no marking.
The big one at bottom of photo...
Several others baffle me as well but will stick with this one for now.
Thanks for any revelations!

This looks like a collection of assorted antique silver-plated flatware and souvenir spoons.

A few things to notice:

  • The mix of designs (shell bowls, ornate handles, mother-of-pearl handled knives, figural handles, pierced serving spoon) suggests it’s not a matching set, but rather a collection assembled over time.
  • Many souvenir spoons were made without proper hallmarks or only with maker’s marks that have worn away.
  • Some pieces, like the pierced serving spoon at the bottom, were common in silverplate, as sterling versions were more expensive.
  • The absence of hallmarks strongly suggests silverplate rather than sterling silver. Most true sterling (especially European or American) would bear marks like “925,” “STERLING,” or country-specific hallmarks.
Maybe that spoon was for corn or peas?
