I wonder what the actual coin looks like...the illustrations are so often misrepresenting of what the actual coins look like. With some, the actual coins look horrible in comparison with the illustration, with others, the actual coin is far superior. I actually don't even understand the logic of the mints to use an illustration instead of a picture of the actual coin...mind bogglingly stupid of them in my opinion.

Why would they show the huddle before they are about to go on stage? Surely some sort of ballet would be more appropriate?

I wonder if they'll do a similar coin to go along with the new TV reality show "Big Ballet"... I guess it'd have to be a kilo coin and the music box case could be programmed to play the old rock & roll song "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen.

i know one female stacker who LOVES the ballet, even has season tickets and another(me lady) who at the very least has expressed her desire at me to go to the ballet. even if she never has before.
but even if you think about people who only like ballet and are not stackers. people who like ballet undoubtedly like pretty things. and this for sure if a very pretty thing..

Exactly!!!

Stunning coin though. I saw it yesterday on my first visit to AGAUnews excellent website.

I was absolutely enamoured with this and the clovis series.
