New to the game. I have the chance to buy some silver plates and sauce boats from a guy I know. But the one thing that concerns me is that the hallmarks are so worn off. I could only recognize the initials of the silversmith and a flower-patterned mark. It could be a good deal if it is real. I am just hesitant. What is your take on this?
