Price Check Full Set of LUNAR S1's in Display Case

I have listed a set of Series 1 on Ebay .Could not get a bid on $1100.00.

Have re-listed them ,in case anyone is interested :)
 
People here try to sell them for between $1,000 and $1,250 which equates to about $100 a coin. Depending on the year you can buy them cheaper than that. Typically prices are about
2000 Dragon ~ $110
2001 Snake ~ $90
2007 Tiger ~ $110
2002 Horse ~ $80
1999 Rabbit, 2003 Goat, 2004 Monkey, 2005 Rooster, 2006 Dog 2007 Pig, 2007 Ox, 2007 Rat ~ $70

So adding all that up comes to about $950.

Of course buying 1 at a time gives higher postage cost but an indication why sets for sale $1,000+ are struggling to sell.

I bought them thinking that these types of collections would be immune to spot falls ,but benefit from a rise in spot ,of course ,as the melt value increased..WRONG.

Anyhoo ,what price market research?

I offered these up at the last meetup here in Bris and to a few other lunar savvies via PM ,but could not get a serious offer...Ebay it must be for now....Wish I did not need the money ,or I would wait it out :)

I'll have a horsey in around 3 weeks (maybe less).

If it comes as good condition I will let you have it for $80+post.
