Is there a premium for silver Philharmonics? I noticed on ebay USA, some of the UNC 2008s with no grading are above normal bullion prices.

I've never really seen premiums on Philly's, can't imagine you would ask a premium unless they were a consecutive year set.

Even still, they're just BU coins with a flat edge... Nowt special!

Usually priced a tad more than Maples but pretty similar.

It's hard to understand eBay prices, bidder can be irrational (got carried away in bidding wars).

At the European dealer I'm looking at, they're ever so slightly cheaper than Maples which are in turn ever so slightly cheaper than ASE's.

I think it depends on your location. If you're in Europe, the Phils are the cheapest, then Maple, then Eagle. Vice versa, in the US, order Phil/Maple probably swapped, and ASE has a high enough premium to stay the highest.
What I do see here in Europe is that Maples are quite alot as 'special prices'. I get the impression that if people sell silver back to dealer, that the Maples go first. Maybe due to the milk spot story. The first bullion I ever sold were Maples, but it was also due to having a lose tube while selling something else would mean an uncomplete box. Nevertheless, if I ever gonna sell a box, it will be the Maple one. Milk spots bah.

As far as I know, very common one the Phills. ALL mine have miked up in two years, it totally sucks

That sucks. I know it happens with the Maples too. Does it affect the value when you come to sell? I guess they're bullion coins so it shouldn't matter too much...

It won't affect the value, if you clean the milk off them they will lose value.

I'll never buy another Phil as long as I live. (They do look great stacked up with the shines edges though)

It's a sh!t business model to sell a product with its own built in mechanism that produces its own bird sh!t over time.
