Perth Mint 2022 Silver Lunar Tiger Design...

I believe that starting tomorrow (Sept 13th) pre-orders become available for the Perth Mint's 2022 Lunar Tiger silver coins. Every year I buy a few of this series coin for myself and kids. The Perth Mint makes very beautifully designed/high quality stuff and the lunar series has always been my favorite. However after looking at the 2022 Tiger design image I can't help but feel somewhat under whelmed by the Tiger design this year. Don't get me wrong it's not horrible by any means but it feels like a bit of a step backward when compared to Perth's 2010 Tiger design. The 2019 Mouse & 2020 Ox coins both looked just as good if not better than the 2008 Mouse & 2009 Ox to me... I certainly still plan on buying a few 2022 Tigers but I'm curious how other feel about the new Tiger design? Obviously something like this is pure opinion but do you think Perth's Lunar Series coin designers did better, worse, or matched the previous design?

*Note: The gold version of the 2022 Tiger design is certainly better than the 2010 version in my opinion.

Yeah i remebered and logged on to the webportal at about 10am on Monday and got my order in.

Surprisingly when I ordered there was no orderlimit of 10. Now they are sold out on the web portal.

I haven't checked the mint's store front yet if they had sold out there.

From my experience the Tiger Coins fetch really high re-sale value in the aftermarket out of all of the Perth mint Luna Coins. (I checked series 2)

Luna Series 2 seems to have a really graceful design which I apperciate with their mouse and ox being better than their luna 3 counterparts. The tiger is the same way.

With 3 coins in the series 3, I can see the trend of the coins depicting parent and child. Doing this makes I guess amkes the design seem more complicated as there is less space to illustrate each animal there.

Perhaps its getting an interest in silver coins in 2017.

Yeah Gold Tiger design looks really good as well I hope to get one myself.
 
Just picked up a silver 1oz Tiger and i have to say the heavy matte finish looks even worse in person, the back of the coin looks shocking. I would like to know what idiot at Perth Mint made that design choice.
