Hi all, just wanted to get some opinions from fellow stackers and collectors. I’ve been wanting to start collecting the Perth lunar series sets now, but am trying to decide between going for the 1oz which is more popular but common, or 1/2oz sets with less demand but lower mintages.
My initial thought process was to go for the 1/2oz to save on premiums, which can then be put back into regular bullion. But am concerned that the 1/2oz sets would not have much demand when selling in the future. Wanted to get other POV from experienced collectors here. What are your thoughts between the 1oz or 1/2oz sets? Do we typically see much higher returns from the 1oz over 1/2oz (% wise)? And do you usually face difficulties when selling 1/2oz lunars?
