Brand new to this Forum and interest in Silver. I am curious as to why ABC, Perth Mint, Scotsdale add PAMP? 1 kg cast bars vary in price, Imported? Which is the better one to purchase if they are all the same purity. Sorry it might be obvious to the old timers.

Think about liquidity, it will be all important when you will sell the item. The more well known and desirable the brand, the better odds you'll get the price you want for it.
The "art" is not paying too much premium when you buy, while considering the potential future buyer(s) willingness to pay that same premium back to you.
Also... be mentally prepared to that whatever you buy now, you'll scratch your head a year from now and wonder why you bought it. Your "taste" for preferred bullion will evolve. Good luck! :cool:
 
must be due to the shipping costs, as for resale they should be very close
which one to buy, will depend on how fast to move them, uncommon items seems to be snap up quicker

Thank you for the replies, But I can't understand if it is 99.99% of anything Silver, Gold, Copper etc
Why does brand recognition play a part. It not like comparing a Rolls to a Toyota or am I missing something?

Yeah that’s the game,I guess there’s a bit of irrational human emotion in it.. after trading a bit you don’t think about it haha it just IS
 
For bars they're all pretty much the same except for maybe some old rare collectable bar. Also, 99.99% coins usually cost a bit more than a cast bar as the minting process is more costly, but people like them as they usually look good, and they've got a date, and they're official govt coinage.

You could just buy the cheapest bars that your local bullion dealer has, then you only need to decide what size bar you want. However, if you're not selling back to that dealer you might want to ensure you have something your future buyer recognises and wants.
