Hi - i have a friend over in NY who's coming back to Aus for a while.

Are there any good spots in NYC for which i can get them to pick up some Gold or Silver, preferable with websites?

If the person is not coming back for a few weeks, he could buy through one of the on line dealers located in the US. Also, is there a sales tax on pm purchases in NY? The reason I ask is that my state does have a sales tax on pm purchases, including coins.
