Hey everyone,
This is my first post but I've been reading here for awhile (without an ID). The general consensus here seems to be that NGC graded coins are better than PCGS for panda's. Now, before I get to my question I want to give you a little bit of background in the hopes that I'll answer any questions you might have about me and my motives.
First of all, my main objective right now is investing. But only investing for 4.5-5 years. I am a high school senior and rather than let my money sit in the bank over college (where I'll be taking some student loans most likely) I want to invest it in something to sell off when I graduate to help pay off any debt I accumulated. I would love to collect in future years, but right now, I see them as an investment. I was looking at buying them from APMEX but I noticed almost all of their graded coins were through PCGS. Would it be a bad move from an investing standpoint to buy PCGS graded coins from there to sell in 2016 since NGC is more preferred? I was planning on buying a 2008 MS70, a 2010 MS70, and probably OMP 1990 one SD and one LD.
Any advice on those coins, PCGS/NGC, or any other panda's for investing (I am a high school student though, so I don't have massive funds to deal with) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
