There is a FAR FAR better Norse Mythology Series being released At the end of this month - stay tuned for it!

Will make this relief look like childs play!

If it's from the Perth Mint though, the likelihood that it will even come close to being a decent design is very, very, very remote based on their previous attempts with their awful Gods/Goddesses series.

But I am open-minded so I'm willing to see just what you are talking about.

.

I like these coins a lot, especially they are very fair priced compared to a lot of other coins out there

I personally think there is a lot of detail missing on this coin. At least in the pictures it is not all that high relief to me. Of the two I like Thor better but I won't be buying these myself.

I like them, kind of makes me glad I missed the boat on Perth's Gods of Olympus.

Any idea on what the packaging will look like?

I like the Thor, but I feel like he should have better defined arms. Little complaint, but I feel it would have made a big difference.

Is this a hint of your (choicebullion's) venture into minting a coin series?
And is it linked to the banner on AgAu's site to watch out for exclusive launch images coming soon?

If so, I'm waiting/watching with interest. Especially with the subject being Norse mythology.
I'll be passing on the ones in this thread, especially as the price has already increased for no good reason other than to whip up the same old tired marketing message to "you must buy now! or face further price increases!"
Not a smart move for getting collectors to buy into a new series, in my opinion.
It's a tactic that has the reverse effect on me.
No justification for price increases at this early stage for a burgeoning series in a ultra competitive market fast being populated by these styles, post Gods of Olympus.

By the way, db23, can you give away one small piece of info - 1oz or 2oz? legal tender or round? (another teaser?)

+1 in many regards Sully. I can't tell from the website, what type of packaging should we expect for that price?

All the details on the new one will be up early Friday.

db23 is right. World's apart from this one, truly special.
