Looking to stack 1oz silver coins, low premium kangaroos is still about $4 per ounce over spot price, from reading around coins now days are also prone to milk spots, so i am guessing when resale in the future with milk spots will be around spot price? also will they be a problem with selling them? since who wants to stock up on spotty silver coins when its illegal to melt them for metal?

As alternate should i fine cheaper bars/rounds? but i also heard coins will be easier to sell since its recognizable/ legal tender?

I would pass on the $4 Kangaroo coins myself. What country are you in where the coins are illegal to melt? We can melt them here in the US with no problems. I don't think there are silver coins from anyplace that cannot be melted here in the US (but you can't harm the US nickels and pennies).

I buy spotted Maples when I can get them cheap enough. I can usually get them for the same price as generic rounds (new ones like Indian head/buffalo, etc). I would take a spotted Maple over a pretty modern generic round any day though for the same price.

Just my opinion.

Yep, wondering would they still be easy to sell in Australia milk spots, both dealer and private.

Also would they be a better alternative? cheaper premium and good liquid

They are not a coin for collecting or expecting a premium rise on date, they are just a bullion quality 4 9,s coin to compete with maple stacker's/investors.

Buy some though because high premium price will make them a short lived run maybe 2 or 3 years max. once buyers realize they will only ever be able to sell them for spot just like the funnel web spider they will not buy them.
