New 2oz Perth Mint Silver coin with antiqued finish

Perth mint is going to release a new 2oz antiqued high relief coin showing a kangaroo in February.

"Australian Kangaroo Antiqued Coin - Silver Collector Coin

The design on the Australian Kangaroo Antiqued Coin (1oz) silver bullion coin, consists of a representation of a kangaroo against a landscape of its natural habitat that depicts trees, grass trees, grasses, kangaroo paws, ground, scrub and a lizard on a log. The coin includes an inscription of the initials of the designer Wade Robinson 'WR'."

Possibly it will be shown on World Fair of Money 2016 in Berlin. A new series starting?
Any hints for the design?
 
Obviously strictly limited by embargoes in what can be revealed, I will say it's a really beautiful piece and collectors will definitely want to check this out on launch day. I reckon most will want one.
 
Yes strictly limited by embargoes. But I am told that it will be shown on World Money Fair in Berlin starting on 5th of February.
Maybe I can send you some pics after the coin show here.
It will be available for sale at WMF, barring unforeseen eventualities. :D

Will actually be at the show again, never miss Berlin, and should be running lots of our AgAuShoots from there. I'm quite organised this year for a change. You have no idea how rare that is...

It will be my second time there in Feb.
By the way if you study the PDF catalogue carefully you will find another leak. :cool:
 
So I take it we won't be able to see what this coin looks like until launch day? Or are there pics posted somewhere.

I did not find any pics yet. Only that passage I was citing from of the World Money Fair 2016 catalog on page 32.
And because of its embargo policy the PM is not allowed to unveil details before 4th of Feb
(even not those alreaded leaked by the catalog). ;-)
 
I think this coin is going to be very well received, it's stunning! The lizard in the foreground is a nice touch ;-)

Oh. I was just surprised that nobody was on his channel that's all. Not to belittle anyone :)

And yeah, you should check out his channel for some serious gold stacking.

I would have posted a link to the video myself, but I wasn't sure if revealing the source was a "no no" here since this forum seems to respect Perth Mint embargo periods. Anyway yes, there is a lot of good info being shared on youtube, and I tell youtubers there is a lot of good information being shared here ;-)

Perth mint told him to take it down,& he complied with them as he doesn't want to upset his relationship the Perth mint. He told me as he is sub of mine & visa versa.
