2021 marks the 200th Anniversary of the death of Napoleon Bonaparte, one of the most recognized military leaders in European history. There have been a number of Napoleon themed coin issues this year but this one is hands down our favorite.
This stunning 5 ounce .999 pure silver proof-life commemorative coin features a reproduction of Napoleon Crossing the Alps, a painting by Jacques-Louis-David from the Malmaison collection and the Malmaison castle. It has been struck with a proof-like quality finish and along with the vibrant color, includes select gilding on the reverse.
