I bought a few of these sets recently and was wondering if they are popular and/or sell much above melt generally speaking?
I've never seen them before and was able to buy them cheap from a collector who was pissed local stores would only pay him melt or so. I paid him $1.50 over melt. Some are .999 and some are sterling.
Awesome strikes on the coins but I didn't buy all he had. Some had some old people on them I didn't recognize them. Bought the set with kangaroos (4 coins), a set with 4 ships, and a few others. He had another set with a map COA I didn't buy but should have probably. Considering buying the rest of what he had but I don't know if I can sell them here for much.
Are the ingots made of silver? I have the COAs but didn't notice if silver.
Thanks for any input!
