Lunars and the GSR

Interested in peoples opinions on how lunar premiums affect GSR trades (if at all).

As of writing the GSR is approx 52. Using a straight lunar swap as an example, would a trade of 52 1oz Ag rabbits equate to a 1oz Au rabbit?

Is GSR meant to be a 'pure concept' - i.e. we shouldn't be comparing market $ value of the items? If so, is it asking for trouble trying to negotiate deals with different types of bullion considering the vast differences in premiums that can occur?

in a nutshell you would be crazy to swap 52 silver rabbits for 1 gold rabbit

when it comes to gsr trades you want not to trade items with a premium.

a good example of a fair GSR trade was when the GSR was 32.15 and a kilo silver bar was swapped for a gold coin, in fact I swapped a kg silver pamp for an oz gold maple.

I would personally would not swap silver for gold at these levels, but if someone wanted to give me 55 ounces of silver I have a kangaroo waiting to hop out the door
