on the nose at the moment.....0.005cents.....thats right half of a cent........but
Gina Rineharts Hancock Prospecting has taken a serious interest......now owns 18.9% since January this year.
Of the 6 board members...she controls 2.....Ian Plimer and.......Alexander Downer (Howard Liberal Party)
Now the Chairman of the Victorian Gas Taskforce which has seriously recommended CSG to curb high domestic gas prices is........Peter Reith (Howard Liberal Party)
Now who is in charge of Victoria.......Liberal Party.
Although it has been prohibited until 2015........ a week is a long time in politics and if the domestic gas price rises......thanks in part to the control of AGL...which also has CSG..........then........well I wonder.
 
I am following this one now Tolly.

Do you think it will be fairly quite until the later half of 2014 with Victoria closed till 2015?

Considering it has been below 1 cent for many years I think it is conceivable that it could hold on for a few years more now Our Fair Lady Gina will inject capital.......

As for timing.........watch local gas prices............and something else I forgot to mention.....unemployment....there is already cracks in the union ranks.....Fracking creates jobs, regardless of environmental impact....one union official has already come out in support of it. If unemployment starts to rise quickly and gas prices rise quickly.............well

If we are lucky, Martin Armstrong is highlighting the possibility of a short term correction on the markets.........this would hopefully knock a few point off the price of LKO...........so I think it would be worth a $5000 flutter sometime next year.

Here's hoping...

If I had the spare money I would do what you just have Tolly......And if Gina is getting in on it theres gotta be some better days ahead eventually?

O.k. looking for some thoughts on my absolute dog of a stock.
They got completely screwed over by the Vic government.
Now they are suing for approx. 3 Billion dollars.
Things in my favour.....most governments are incompetent such that the policy made in haste has more holes in it than the Bismarck.
A good legal team would have 3 Billion as an ambit with the hope of collecting several hundred million. This would completely re-capitalise the stock and perhaps send it to the 1 cent mark.
I actually make money for once in my life......
How is that for a dream?

Bought a thousand bucks worth at .0008....since the lowest possible sell price is .001, I will make a 25% profit immediately.

Should have changed their ticker symbol to "POS"...more reflective of their real value.

I will give it to LKO, they are consistent and have developed a wonderful descending flag formation since 1990. I did have some shares in this company in the late 90's...up, down..down, up again...I think I broke even in the end if you don't count the brokerage fees.
