The red ranga has disenfranchised the jewish vote by setting the election on Yom Kippur the holiest day in the Jewish calender that falls on the 14th of September this year.

In yet another hamfisted election ploy our clueless prime minister is off on the wrong foot. Be forewarned the hard labour scum is going to attack self managed super in order to fund their delusional bribes. I have heard they are going to limit how much super you can take out of your SMSF and tax it even after age 60 if you retire.

If your 55 or older get your paper work ready to take your super out as a lump sum. Will come down as a last gasp in labors next and last budget.

Kind Regards

So the local mafia are having another leadership contest. Will Tony Soprano be able to convince that he is best for leader or will his uncle win this time?

oh, sorry, we're talking about the Australian govt? I get confused...

I absolutely loathe those thieving scum...

I saw this on Facebook - posted by a young person I know. Interesting that the awareness of the unviability of the welfare state model is passing as a meme into the younger generation. (if it's not a 'plant')

This might be a solution for some: :|

PUPILS who skip classes are to be bribed back to school with a lottery that gives out cash prizes.

Education chiefs in Manchester have dreamed up the 30,000 scheme in a bid to slash truancy rates.

Under the plan six pupils from the citys schools will scoop 100 if they are in class on the day the weekly prize draw is made.

And their classmates benefit too, because they will win 15 each.

Chief education officer Mick Waters, who created the Be There lottery scheme, said he hopes it will lure truants back to classes.

Be very interesting to see how they frame 'the issues' for this election.

Well, I heard Christopher Pyne will give you a private lap dance if you vote for the LNP so I guess that evens it up.

C'mon, source link or it didn't happen.

There's going to be waaay too much bullsh*t going around to not provide sources for whatever is being claimed. There's one politician contesting this election who famously declared we shouldn't believe anything they say unless there's a written record of their position on the subject and to refer to that instead of what they say in front of the cameras.

Yom Kippur? Big effing deal!! What has that got to do with an election date? I'm pretty sure you can vote and go do whatever religious thing you want on the same day.
Alternately, don't bother voting.

How about a day of fasting (no water or food for 25 hours). Perhaps some Jews would have liked to help out with the polling stations or transporting old and infirmed to the polls, not just vote. Perhaps it is a bloody stupid choice, but from out brilliant PM - no suprise.
To illustrate how stupid a choice it is she should have rather chosen Christmas day the 25th of December? is that ok ? You can do whatever religious thing you want to do on the same day. Perhaps she should have chosen Eid (8th of August) - just as stupid a choice.

I despair where this country is heading, honestly. We are dictated to by a two headed government, disguised as two party's!

You know, you get some really interesting images on google image when you type in Julia Gillard lingerie or Julia Gillard underwear.

Sieg Heil!

I'm pretty sure you could step out of your synagogue for half and hour and vote. Have it Christmas day for all I care, won't make a difference to me as I probably won't be voting and I'm atheist. :)
