iBullion application for iPhone.

I just purchased this app today and wanted to share it. It is called iBullion. Basically, you enter the amounts of precious metals you have, and it keeps a running total for you. You can enter the price you paid and it will keep up with you gains and losses. It can also be password protected. It is basically just an electronic copy of your collection. It defiantly isn't for everyone, but I really enjoy knowing how much my stack is worth at all times.

mmmmm?

iPhone (and apps?) is notorious for being invasive and lack of privacy in that it follows users with the built in GPS features.

Just wondering if iBullion can follow you?

Well, they say that they don't. "In order to protect your privacy we do not collect any information regarding your portfolio or your location." But who knows. Like I said, it's not for everyone.

Though i agree, in saying buillion is an asset some ppl keep at home... how many people these days use a banking app on their iphones these days?..
i know i do, and so do alot of others....
the app looks ok with its layout, but yea i guess its upto the individual to determin if they think its safe or not..

Another way of valuing your stack is to multiply the total weight in ounces or grams by the spot price in a couple of calculator presses. At least you haven't revealed your stack to the www.
