Gold Pandas

Just wondering what people here think of gold pandas is there much collector potential as silver pandas ? the premium is of course much lower in general and it seems the 1/10 oz are the most popular, which dates and sizes seem to be the best to go for , possible sleepers?

You're from USA so you can (more often than us):

- Get rare Gold Pandas at melt
- Get MS69 Gold Pandas near melt

If you see any fractional Gold pandas on eBay that ship to US only that's the time to bid at least spot + 5%.

You'd be pleasantly surprised...

Yep, the USA is a good place to pickup BARGAIN Pandas.

I know someone that has often flown across to pickup heaps of gold from the USA to resell back in China.

Of course it's only my opinion but I think gold pandas have better investment potential but collecting silver or gold pandas is exciting regardless ...

I'm only adding gold pandas from here on out and random other MCC

Thanks for the input and glad to see you back comeaux, I just started in the last month or so getting into the gold pandas and now it has become addictive. I am mostly getting the 1/10 oz when I can find good deals but the 1/4 oz seem to be the best prices generally, I have nt seen much go for melt value except maybe some really damaged looking stuff but i did get a good deal on a 1/10 and 1/4 1986 proof set for $600 they were not described as proof and bad pictures , they look great and should grade at least 68s. It seems like the 80s era stuff is cheap and the 1998 seems to be extremely expensive even though there are quite a few for sale. Any other input on what dates might be desirable here , there or in China or possible sleepers would be appreciated.

Peter Anthony's book is really handy at picking out the rarer gold Pandas :)

Thanks yennus I do have the book and it has been great in exploring the world of pandas , but it seems a little outdated from looking at current sales so I was hopeing to get more updated info on current trends possibly trends out of china as an indicator.
