I just tidied up a few threads in that sub-forum IE deleted one or two, stickied and un-stickied others depending upon how recently they got a comment.

With a new owner I'm anticipating a new membership drive at some point in the future to help towards the costs of maintaining this forum so just want to alert others to its presence.

No doubt when membership is open again you'll be notified.

I was looking to add membership to 2nd account but waited as saw was tied to paypal which dont involve with anymore and even when u pay with card,etc seems to want to give paypal your email. Great to have new owners and seem to be doing well but old membership seemed longterm new membership goes for something like $10/6mths which is nothing but bit diff. Personally its the paypal crap i dont like just imo

We already have, and are continually investing significant money into the functionality, usability and membership benefits of the forum and a lot of these upgrades are not one off costs. So, whilst we will certainly honour the previous 1 off support of lifetime "Silver Stacker" members to GoldPelican, there may be changes to the membership structures and level of benefits received based on the level of support. All prior benefits will be maintained.

That being said, the forum will forever remain a free-to-participate forum for all stackers from all walks of life to discuss and trade. Those members that wish to continue their financial support of the forum and its ongoing cost will receive access to additional features in the future.

Having said all this, it is our priority first and foremost, to ensure that this forum continues to run and our 100% focus is currently on returning all functionality back to this forum and restoring confidence through new ownership to a community that has been in limbo for so long.

@everyone, PLEASE NOTE, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY NEW PAID MEMBERS CURRENTLY AND REQUEST THAT YOU DO NOT PROVIDE ANY DONATIONS OR MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION FEES AT THIS TIME AS WE HAVE NOT FIXED THE BILLING INFORMATION YET AS OUR PRIORITY IS FORUM FUNCTIONALITY AT THIS TIME.
