They are harder to find because only a few thousand of each proof version were produced, instead of the hundreds of thousands produced per year for the regular version.
They were produced between 1990 and 1999 before production was stopped due to low sales numbers. I have a few, but not the complete set.

No I don't have any of the 10 coins that make up the proof set - it is difficult enough to assemble the BU set. It was not difficult to find or assemble a full set of BU Kookaburras 2 or 3 years ago, now it is quite difficult. Many of the key date coins are now north of $150 if you can find at all and often their condition is poor and sometimes you have to make multiple purchases before you can find a really good condition key date coin.
