ETF recommendations?

I am looking to diversify into some more ETF looking ot take a little more risk to gain a little more reward ( but I am not looking to be reckless here either) I do not have an international share trading account so am only looking at ETF's I can purchase on the Australian market and dont really want to buy gold or silver etf's

So yes I am looking at what others here hold and why to give me some ideas of where to park my $$$

I currently hold these ETFs on the ASX: IVV, VHY, OOO, IJP, ASIA

I have these singel shares as well: WPL -- I think this will get back close to $30 then ill sell. ( I just sold WBC, ORG, STW and BHP so am looking to park that cash elsewhere)

so yes looking for a better return maybe a little riskier that will complement the above ETF's I allready own

any suggestions.
 
No recommendations but if you want access to US ETF's then you could give selfwealth a go, you'll have a wider variety to choose from including riskier ones that would allow broad exposure to stuff like 5G and space technologies.

They would be long term holds I would suggest if you did venture down that path.
 
slv is probably your best bet, guaranteed sideways action :)

i would just pick another vanguard eft youre risk comfortable with, say vdhg.
 
Any pros and cons for dividend paying ETFs? Are non dividend paying ones a waste of time?
 
NDQ if you think US big tech will continue to dominate
IJR if you think smaller US companies will do better (or want the hedge)
ETHI if you're overexposed to mining etc. plus it has done better than IVV and is a bit more globally diverse
HACK and/or ROBO for some smaller tech plays

generally the greater the risk the greater the rewards but I dont like a lot of risk hence me generally gravatating towards EFT's instead of just buying single shares. OOO is about the riskyiest that I have gone and I bought that when they were literally paying people to take oil away and it has been fantastice since then :)

I dont know all the various EFTs out there so hence the thread looking at optionns that I may not have heard of previously.

FOOD looks interesting to me. I like food ( that you eat ) does anyone holging this EFT?

NDQ I ahve looked at previously it is too similar to IVV ETHI looks interesting though.

I want exposure to the USA / other world markets. I read somewhere ( might have been here I can remember ) That Apple alone is worth more than the entire ASX combined.

so I sold a bunch of Aussie shares and started buying ETF's in overseas markets.
 
I didnt want a passive ETF that will track downturns, I am sure these guys will also get hit when market crashes, but hopefully they will sell crappy stocks on the way down or ungear bad US stocks lol.

AFI - LIC mainly bluechip
ARG - LIC mainly bluechip
GGUS - ETF Geared Global Shares - Geared IVV ETF but it doesnt follow any benchmark blindly (I hope) in regards to gearing

AFI and ARG have almost duplicate basically a selection of top 50 ASX stocks but 10% or so each of each LIC have very different smaller stocks

I have samll holdings in these for diversifications few percentage each

ASIA - Asian Tech Giants
IAA - top 50 Asian stocks
VSO - Small Australian Companies
VGE - emerging markets

I own a few of the ETF's already listed above, but these haven't been mentioned yet and I have holdings in both...

RBTZ - A Robotics and AI based ETF
FEMX - My emerging markets pick

Of course, this isn't financial advice :D
 
Not really exactly what you asked for but, you could look at raiz as an option. I got out after the big dip in March but recently put a chunk back in, and to this portfolio.
The saphire portfolio has good exposure and weighted to large caps and BCT.
