A few weeks ago someone on ebay was selling lots of gold proof coins in a short period of time, worth well over 50k.
Some of them sold for close to or even under spot.
I was very tempted to bid, but I thought it is a bid dangerous if someone gets paid over 50k on his paypal account before sending out anything.
Now a few weeks later, this seller's feedback is private and he has stacked up 12 negative feedback comments, which are invisible.
I'm curious, was anyone here involved and got scammed, or what happened? Is paypal returning the money?
I don't want to mention the ebay username, but it is easy to find if you search for completed listings of lunar, olympic, or queen gold proof coins.
