decided to have a reality check on buying canned lager , it adds up to money stupidly spent, I have decided to have a bit on a sat/ sunday only the rest ill have soft drink or something like, can buy extra silver with the difference extra ounces and no hangover

There's plenty of little things that steal your hard earned.


If you're going to drink soft drink, buy it from the supermarket & don't go crazy. A can or two a day?

I was bidding on stuff last night , caught up in a bid frenzy, withdrew it this morning after I realise it could be shill bids saw a panda coin which if I look closely dosent have the yen amount in numbers 10 20 anywhere on the coin , mind you its gold and up to a whapping 4 very suspect
 
I too have decided to suplement my stacking activities with laying off the sauce, who knows, maybe I`ll have a nice shiney new liver eventually too! :)
 
Why stop at beer? Save some money, don't drink water either. And while you're at it, don't eat too. Your stack will thank you.
 
or u can all try harder and actually live long enough to see silver where u want it. Making a sacrifice and replacing beer with soft drinks? this might blow some of your minds, but u dont even have to drink soft drinks! :O . if u want a coke drink 2-3 glasses of water and u want want a coke anymore... **the more u know**

Seriously though, good on you.

I have a nice pile of kooks I can thank sobriety for. I still enjoy a couple of whiskeys on special occasions, but giving up regular drinking a couple of years ago made a big difference to my life, health and stack haha.

Thinking about your spending habits in terms of silver ounces is a pretty powerful way to cut back on needless spending.

Most of my large purchases I have made after drinking haha. The 3 dollars for the cheap bottles of beer seems worth it to take the edge off clicking that submit button. Then the $3 dollar bottles of beer I continue to buy seem like a relatively small loss to help me cope with the shrinking value of the silver I just purchased before my eyes.

However when collecting old U.S Numismatic coins I have learned this is a mistake. Just like how women look much more attractive after getting hammered, the same goes for these old coins. I've spent too much on some ugly ones haha .Checking my Ebay purchase history is the equivilant of seeing who you next too in bed the day after...

And to go one better, make your ginger beer from ginger you grow in your own garden, rainwater from your own tank and yeast from your own... actually I am going to buy the yeast but I will bottle it in recycled bottles.

I totally agree with you, in my case i drink too much gloria jeans mud slide mocca. I worked it out, if i stopped drinking it i can have $36.90 extra to buy bullion silver every week.

I quit smoking weed, gave me heaps of extra money to buy metal!! still buying ounces, but now i get to stack them, not smoke them :p lol
 
Besides saving money, not boozing it up saves you from making an a-hole of yourself. I have met some decent people who have turned themselves into real dirtbags after drinking libations. Then, the next day, when they sober up, they turn themselves back into decent people.

The less boozing people do, the better human beings these people become.
