"After years of black-balling the GATA Chairman, CNBC invited Bill Murphy onto its SquawkBox program for a LIVE interview, which spun out of control rather quickly for the financial pundits when Murphy took the conversation to silver, and specifically where the white metal is headed when the banksters lose control of their price manipulation scheme: Silver is their Kryptonite. If they lose control of silver, the game's over! If Silver takes out $18.50, its on its way to $100!

The GATA Chairman's Full MUST WATCH Interview is Below:"

What happened to that discussion on the value of horse turds? "If silver takes out $18.50 it's going up to $100" get real. 'IF' silver breaks $18.50 it's more realistic that it goes back down to $14 rather than up to $100. It's time they try to come up with plausible predictions rather than trying to get people to laugh at them. Because it's working

Was this from CNBC shown in the US? I don't recognize the CNBC announcer who did the interview. I don't necessarily agree 100% with what Bill Murphy proclaims but I am glad this subject is getting into the mainstream, because I do believe there is at least some level of manipulation in the PM markets.

Theres some level of manipulation in every market.

That is true billybob. But in those other markets the authorities catch people and fines are levied, etc (LIBOR, etc). In the PM markets it is always denied that manipulation exists when investigated by authorities at least here in the US by the CFTC. Why do you think that is billybob?

Has anyone wondered if market manipulation is a symptom of government regulation rather than due to a lack of sufficient government regulation?

I first heard of 'Squak Box' from a friend who is a Merrill Lynch futures trader. He said a lot of traders, especially day traders, watch it while trading. Some use it to influence their trading decisions.

Hes one of the presenters in Hong kong or Singapore? during the Asian session
