Circulated Old AUS bank notes $2, $5, $10 and $20

Hello

Does anybody know if circulated old Australian paper bank notes are worth anything?

I have
13x $2 Note
1x $5 Note
7x $10 Note
6x $20 Note

All of the $20's are in good condition

Before i take them to the bank i thought i would check here if anyone one wants them.

I can put some pics on later tonight if they are worth it :)
 
I think it is mostly down to the signatures or serial numbers.

We have members of the coins club who pay their dues in the old notes just to get rid of them.

We also have members who dive through the jar to dig the old notes out so they are definitely popular.
 
Lucky you asked........those things are worthless....just give me the address and I will swing past and take them off your hands....no need to thank me.

Come pass the shop and i'll be happy to check them out for you.
Obviously a lot comes down to condition, but in saying that....if they are a first or last prefix they still may carry a premium.
Also, if your fortunate enough to have an error note amongst them, that too may carry a premium.
