China's poor air quality sparked international attention as thick, toxic smog blanketed much of the nation. World Health Organization (WHO) record PM2.5 level exceeding 1000 micrograms per cubic meter, which is 100 times its safety limit. In this article, we will look at China's economy through the lens of environmental and energy.

Next will be death of the planet when we rid it of CO2. :(

Yes. Plastic in the ocean is another major crisis that needs more attention.

In my opinion, there is a lot of work need to be done in the years ahead to conserve our environment.

However, it is also interesting to see how environment, economy and energy work affects one another.

If China continues to focus on burning of coal to sustain its economic growth, all of the resources she spends on conserving the environment will be undone.

People said renewable energy is the solution, but sadly, even China is rapidly expanding it at an enormous pace, it is still too slow to replace coal.

The entire Chinese economy is geared towards coal-powered...

I have a humble solution in my article, let me know what you guys think ;)

If there is one entity on this planet pushing consumption, it's a government.
There's a tree, a pool and a frog.
Government hands some cheapskate money to Someone.
Someone cuts the tree, fills the pool, in the process flatteningthe frog with the truck.
Builds then a house with solar panels and thick insulation.
Wooha look at us we stopped global warming we saved the environment.
