A four-year probe of potential price manipulation in the silver market may be completed as early as September, according to Bart Chilton, a member of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

"I am hopeful and expect the silver investigation to conclude in the not-too-distant future, hopefully in September or October," Chilton, a 52-year-old Democrat, said in an e- mail. "It has already taken way too long."

And just like corrupt bankers, no matter what they find, no-one will finish up in front of a court, so it was probably all a waste of time.

Any ideas on what a silver probe looks like? Sounds like it might hurt, but they have probably been enjoying it!

The CFTC would know exactly what goes on. The CFTC does nothing unless told to by their superiors in other spheres of power.

Not so sure about them knowing all... agree that they won't act unless its acceptable to TPTB.

Probably 1 guy there and he turn off the lights at the end of the day

They mightn't know everything but they'd know enough to be able to prove there's manipulation going on. Would be nice if the justice system came down on white collar crime.
