Coins itself looks good. Do you have same thing?
I hope it does not effect selling.

Are you sure that those marks are on the coins?

Is it possible that the marks are on the capsule?

I have some bunnies like that, I think silver oxide is black... IMHO looks like friction rubbing some silver off and then it oxidizing... IMHO anyway

I've seen that before on older lunars (some of my 1 oz Series II Tigers exhibit the same thing). It's rather irritating considering the premium price you pay for Perth Mint coins.

Just received an response from the shop:

'we are very sorry that some coins have spots. We didnt see it when we packed the parcel. The coins are bullion coins and we sold them very close to the sport prices. We can give you however a credit of 6 euro ( = 0,20 Euro Cent / pcs for all 30 coins).
Its not much, but the premium is very small and these coins are not numismatic coins. We hope this is okay for you. The Perth Mint Quality is very good and this happened not often, but we can guaranty this just for Proof coins.'

6 euro credit for 30 pc :/

Now i am looking for to sell 20 pc. If you want to buy please PM your offers :/. Will sell them without premium.

Guys,

I suspect that "Honestcoins" opinion on this might be correct. And it's only recently that a lot of posts have appeared talking about milkspots on Perth Mint coins. Now black spots. Bloody hell!!

From a narrow perspective, it does not/cannot (much) affect me. But from a broader perspective, this is really concerning. And I wonder if Perth Mint are actually getting much feedback on this. You know how big companies often work, where the bad news is often filtered out before it can reach the higher management levels.

I wonder if perhaps, someone may wish to start a post (a Sticky maybe?) where some statistics are gathered, and then after a while, forwarded to the Perth Mint, because it would be really valuable information to be able to collate statistics like this; ie: date, product, problem, etc.

Just a thought.
