Horse design is kinda bland, but you gotta love that double eagle coat of arms.

"Latest to get in on the act is the Moscow Mint with this design for the Bank of Russia. Containing an ounce of silver, the 0.925 coin has a total weight of 33.94g, is 39mm in diameter and 3.3mm thick. This 3 Ruble, proof-quality piece has a maximum mintage of 20,000."

What are your guys thoughts? any ideas were one could buy one?

Yes, they are .925 but do cointain the same amount of silver as any 1 oz .999 coin. So in fact their metal value is more (as 7.5% of the coin is other metal in surplus). Also, it should make the coin stronger. I think the Brittania is also sterling silver?

I'm quite a big fan of this set. Would like to get at least tiger, rabbit and mouse. Have only snake and it's quite nice.

Most of the Russian coins are 0.925. Dunno why. Some of them are really nice, but I believe they aren't so popular on the "West".

999 fine is more collectable than 925 coins. 925 is only really preferable to 999 if you are going to use the item eg. teapots, knives etc as 999 is too soft for use.
I didn't ask what is more collectible and what is less I asked what you can do with 999 that you can't with 925 ... and vice versa
so it turns out to be personal preference ... nothing objective

face value is 3 roubles, so it is a coin

well, the interest in series is going up
year ago some of them were selling sub $100
my buy target is $50 ... not ready to pay more

Maybe I've made mistake I didn't buy them before.

I think that dragon is too similar to PM's, but other coins are mostly very nice. :)
