5oz, 10oz and 1kg Dragons, buy from Mint or Dealer?

Yeah shop around, maybe find a dealer in your local city, you might be able to do local pickup to save in postage.
 
Talk to Aurora et Luna and ozbullion here. If they can't help chances are they'll know who can

Independent dealers will give you a better price than the Mint.
There is going to be a glut of 5oz, 10oz and kilo dragons available for sale in a few weeks time so competition will be fierce for your business.
I am not taking orders for the Dragons until I actually have them in hand or am pretty sure they will arrive in a timely fashion. The Perth Mint is unreliable; I am still waiting for coins I ordered 6 weeks ago. :(

Steve, I have a friend that loaded up on the 2oz dragons and expects to make a killing. Is there going to be a glut of 2oz coins? If so, do still expect them to be a good long term value? Thanks, and I will pass along your answers.
 
The 2oz coin could have a mintage of 500,000, 1 million or more because the 1oz is limited to 300k. The Perth Mint's 1oz limits worked a treat in series 1 and early series 2 when demand for the coins never reached 300k and were somewhat of a "boutique" product compared with the Maple or ASE, but now the 300k limit is far too restricting given demand and as a result the other sizes, especially the 2oz will be the target of unmet demand.

I can tell you who is going to make the killing. It the *&^**&# Perth Mint.
Same effort and time to mint a 2oz as a 1oz coin but over $5 extra profit.
They are shameless! :mad:
