2015 silver 1oz bullion panda is the first panda show no purity and weight which leads a lot focus and discussion in SS. Many say not buy it due to no weight and purity indication on the coin.
However, this is not the case in China.
The release price of 2015 silver 1 oz panda is at RMB 140 @ USD22. The peak is at RMB190 @ USD30 which is 36% up against release price. 2015 1 oz silver panda has listed on one of the online BIKA platform in china with current price of RMB800 @ USD78.70. The online price is out reach the offline price as discussed and mentioned in other thread by me. The listing will reduce the quantity of the 2015 1 oz silver panda availability to the offline market even the planned mintage is 8 mio. Noone know the actual mint is 8 mio or lesser. However, we are sure it is not exceeded 8 mio and the online listing has make the offline physical stock lesser. Who know will it be another person who intend to list the 2015 1 oz silver panda in another online platform in china to make it availability offline lesser. It can happen since there are more than 40 online platforms in china and keep increasing.
Some members even speculate that the mints will not produce 2015 panda few months ago as when Apmex, providentmetal and other big bullion dealers sold out of 2015 1 oz silver panda. In facts, the mints did release one batch of it to china in July 2015 and reach those dealers later to handle the market demand. Therefore, the 2015 offline market silver panda has down from RMB175 @US27.6 to RMB160 @ USD 25.2 now.
The 2015 silver panda will up if this batch of stock depleted and another person list it online in another platform. It is not likely the mints will release or mints another more 2015 silver panda since the 2016 will release in china tomorrow.
Another factor I bet 2015 silver panda will up is 2016 panda is in new metric which no longer in oz and it show purity in coin. Thus 2015 is the transition between 2014,2015 and 2016. You can bet on 2014 and 2015 which have stock depleted in market and buy the 2016 in low spot rate.
If the above happen, you might be a winner.
