Agreed, ill be there to pick this puppy up at $50, but im not fussy this or the dragon will be ok for $50... i suspect the amount of chaff getting turned out at the mint that there will be PM modern numismatica available at distress rates as the flavour of the month crowd decide they no longer care for them.. there loss will be mine/our gain..

HEHE>.. waiting game.

I will be sitting this release out but i am considering pulling the trigger on the Dragons of Legend. Chinese Dragon Coin,

on the box, this kook looks lost :)

Better looking Kook on the box, this years Kook just looks feral

It failed the golden rule of photos/still life painting... always capture the full body of the specimen in question.. with the 2012 kook, its such a close up they have had to cut out parts of the bird to get it on the coin.. i think the zoom was taken back a couple of inches it may reveal a nice shot.. but YEP.. someone massacred it, either the original artist, or the PM entity in charge of fitting the art work on the coin die

They obviously didnt think the Kook's tail mattered much or added to the image so though best to remove .. its the 2012 "MANX" tail-less kook

Laters...

I never said i like the hr dragon. I simply pointed out that the 90 selling price was an anomaly. I, in fact, do NOT like the hr dragon because it is too small in diameter to admire.

Neither did i say i like the hr kook. I said i like the 2012 kook, since i was responding to the previous poster's criticism of the design on the coin, i thought it would be obvious i was talkin about......the design.
