G'day all,
I have question re the 8-coin sets (in jarrah case)..
According to this link >> http://www.australianstamp.com/coin-web/aust/proofset/2000olyg.htm ,
"Each set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity for each coin and for the collection as a whole together with a prestigious medallion."
Does anyone know the composition / weight of this "prestigious medallion"? .. Has anyone ever seen one?
The medallions for the 16-coin silver sets > http://www.australianstamp.com/coin-web/aust/proofset/2000olys.htm often show up on ebay, and I'm led to believe these are in fact silver (not sure of their mass)
I've tried Googling, and can't find any reference to either, apart from the above links (& the odd ebay listing for the silver one)
Any info on the aforementioned (gold ??) medallion will be much appreciated.. TIA
