Right now I have my oldest/most valuable pennies in Coin snaps. But as far as every other coin I own, I have them in zip-lock plastic bags. I'm aware that it is bad to keep them in there and I need suggestions on what to keep them in on a budget! Taking all suggestions! Thank you.

Can I keep my silver in the hard plastic it comes in? I'm not sure if that will trap moisture and be bad to keep them in there. Or should I take them out of the plastic and keep them in a box with soft bottoms and sides with silica gel packs? I would love to hear all of your storage...
