For anyone that would like to get a look at Valkyrie before they begin shipping, there will be a sample on display at the ANA World's Fair of Money in Anaheim California this week at booth #683.
We expect dealers to begin offering Pre-Sales of Valkyrie sometime between this weekend and Tuesday with delivery beginning in late August - early September.
Coins are already minted, are just being finished with Antiquing and COA etching.
You're overthinking it, it's pretty straight forward.
If you own 1 of the 10 numbers listed and have an invoice from one of our distributors indicating a purchase before the cutoff date, you're a winner. If not then you have not won. We know which distributors received which COAs, so we can...
I'm not sure why you would think that this isn't doing ok in the aftermarket. In a time where a great number of coins can be had for 30% or more below the release price 6 months after release, Odin is selling at 20%-30% above release.
The huge success of Odin really caused us to raise the bar for Valkyrie. When you seen Valkyrie next week I think you'll agree.
One thing was certain, we were not going to release a coin that we did not believe was as good as it should be.
Fortunately we've gotten the process down pat and now...
If I were to guess, I would say that they are just trying to draw people in - and it seems to be working. ;)
I will be posting details today about the drawing for 10 Valkyrie coins.
We will be posting details about how we will be drawing the 10 winners on the Choice Mint news page in the next few days. We will draw and post the results on the same page right when we are ready to unveil the photo, probably within the next 10 days.
Oh he's just over anxious - and we appreciate that!
I just saw the new die this morning and I must say, it's better than even I could have had imagined.
We should have a sample next week and finally allow dealers to start accepting pre-orders.... and draw the 10 winners of a free Valkyrie. :)
This isn't minted by Provident, it's from Osborne Mint. Apmex has had them on their site for at least a week or two.

OK, we're still not ready to show a pic of a struck coin, but very soon.
How about a picture of the paper box that Valkyrie will come in? Just like Odin, he contains a snip-it of part of the coin.
Looking at that COA, I knew that it had something to do with Govmint...

Perhaps GovMint, MCM, New York Mint, Asset Marketing - or whatever other names they go by these days... can help you.
The second sample was not up to our satisfaction. The problem is that the reduction process used causes a loss and distortion of some details that are just too important to the coin. We have a specialty die maker working on a replacement, and we're fully confident that it will be completed to...
First sample is in my hand now, we should have the second sample by Friday - we expect this one to be the finished product. Just holding this first one in my hand, it is really really cool maybe even better than Odin. :D
If All is as expected, we should be able to unveil in another week or two...
Nobody said that you lied, I simply asked how much the 1/4 was because over here they started out very high and almost impossible to source, I was trying to determine if it was the same there - that's all.
That price is still missing the 1/4oz, which on ebay is going for $100+ but is only available in graded form. How much were you paying for those at release?
